Aidan is Manager of the Economist Intelligence Unit's Risk Briefing service, which assesses operational risks for businesses in 180 markets globally. He contributes extensively to the Economist Intelligence Unit's coverage of global issues. He also works as a member of the team of analysts specialising in Eastern Europe, providing coverage of Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia and regional issues. Aidan frequently speaks at conferences and seminars and provides commentary for media outlets, including the BBC. Before joining the Economist Intelligence Unit, he covered Eastern Europe as an analyst for a consultancy. He holds a BA in Modern History from Oxford University, as well as an MA in International Relations and a graduate diploma in Economics.
