Country Analysis
Fung Siu joined the Economist Intelligence Unit's Asia team in 2005. She is currently the lead analyst for Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Singapore. In addition to her regional responsibilities, she works on product development related to the company's Country Forecasting Services and oversees the quality of the Country Forecast reports across several regions. She regularly represents the company's views on Asia through a range of mainstream media channels and through client presentations.
Fung previously worked with the Economist Intelligence Unit's ViewsWire team, where she was responsible for writing events driven pieces relating to economic data and policy releases. Prior to joining the Economist Intelligence Unit, she worked as an economist for Ried, Thunberg & Company Incorporated, a global fixed income/ foreign exchange research firm. Fung has a Msc in Economics from the University of London and an undergraduate degree in Economics.
