Maya is an editor/economist in the Western Europe team of analysts, having joined in 2008. Prior to joining the Economist Intelligence Unit, Maya was an analyst within Datamonitor's Financial Services practice for a number of years and also worked at a consultancy focusing on European Commission projects. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in Comparative Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
