Country Analysis
Paul Lewis is the Managing Editor of the Economist Intelligence Unit's management website, Executive Briefing, a joint venture with Harvard Business School Publishing. He also commissions, writes and edits Economist Intelligence Unit research papers on business and management, chairs Economist conferences and is a regular contributor to the Management section of Economist.com. Previously, Mr. Lewis wrote articles and opinion pieces on European politics, economics and business and was the Economist Intelligence Unit's Bureau Chief in Vienna. His recent book, "How the East Was Won", examines the impact of multinational companies on the transition of post-communist Europe. Before joining the Economist Intelligence Unit in 1995, he was an investment banker in London and consultant in Prague, where he also ran his own business. He has a BSc (Econ) and MSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics.
