Robert is responsible for executing custom research projects for clients in the UK. Before joining the Economist Intelligence Unit Robert worked in the macroeconomic forecasting team at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. In this role he contributed to the regular forecast for the UK economy and helped maintain the Institute's global econometric model. He has also provided research assistance to John Kay in support of his regular Financial Times articles and has advised on consumer issues at the Office of Fair Trading
