Coralie writes for the Economist Intelligence Unit's events-driven ViewsWire and Risk Briefing services. She writes daily, concise articles analysing major monthly and quarterly economic indicators for countries around the world, explaining developments in the context of the EIU's forecasts.
She edits and writes articles on political, economic and business issues and events that pose risks in the operating environment at national, regional and global levels. She also prepares and presents timely webcasts, interviewing EIU analysts and delving into the political, economic or financial implications of recent events in individual countries, regions and the global economy.
Prior to joining the EIU, Coralie worked for a non-profit organisation in the fields of microfinance and microinsurance. She has lived in several countries in Europe and Latin America, and holds an MA in Management and Spanish from the University of St. Andrews, in Scotland, as well as an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
